The football association of Zambia-FAZ has secured a k3 million league sponsorship deal with the Zambia Breweries company.
The FA announced today at an event in Lusaka that it has penned a K3 million third-tier sponsorship for the Zambian Super League which is currently headlined sponsored by telecommunications company MTN.
The deal has also seen Zambian Breweries pumping in a sum of K250,000 for the 2022 Charity Shield involving Red Arrows and NAPSA Stars on 13 August, 2022.
The FAZ president Andrew Kamanga has since urged the corporate world to also come on board and sponsor both the men and women’s football leagues in Zambia as they have an “open sponsorship policy in order to give the game a huge boost.”
The Zambian super league is a twenty teams league in Zambia which is the highest tier of football in the country and currently being held by Red Arrows football club who will also represent Zambia in the forthcoming CAF champions league.
