Super falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has bemoaned the distractions she suffered through the match during the 2022 Womens Africa cup second semifinal match between Nigeria and hosts Morocco.
Nnadozie has disclosed that she endured through out the match as Nigeria were reduced to Nine women after conceding two red cards in the 48th and 71st minutes when Halimatu Ayind and Rasheedat Ajibade were sent off.

Chiamaka Nnadozie who was named Player of the match told the BBC in an interview that the officiating was not good as the Super Falcons had two players sent off – both after the intervention of VAR – in their last four defeat on penalties by Morocco.

“The officiating was not really okay,
“They did everything to distract us with [laser pens during the penalty shootout.]
“Since I’ve been playing football, this is the worst match I’ve ever played in my life,” she added.”

Despite losing 5-4 on post match penalty shootouts to the hosts Morocco after a hard fought one-all-draw and missing out on a place in the final, Chiamaka was named player of the match and will be looking to win the golden gloves as she has so far made three cleansheets in the tournament.
The super falcons are expected to play the copper queens of zambia in on Saturday for the third place finish at the 2022 WAFCON.
