Red hot Zambian striker Patson Daka is not only known for his deadly touch on the ball in front of the goal but also a big heart and his connection with the fans.
Daka yesterday scored his second premier league goal in his first ever 90′ minutes premier league start which saw Leicester city’s club legend Jamie Vardy watch the entire match from the bench as the foxes condemned Newcastle united to a 4-0 bashing at the king power stadium.
Daka also equaled Vardy’s number of directly goal involvements in all competitions so far this season.
Vardy has scored nine goals and made one assist while the Zambian has netted seven goals and provided three assists accross all competitions to level the two on a total of ten goal involvements for Leicester.
Five of Daka’s goals have come in the Europa league while two in the premier league in 16 appearances accross all competitions in which he has only made eight starts.
Meanwhile, something special happened yesterday at the King power stadium as a young Leicester city fan raised a placard asking for Daka’s jersey from the start of the match till the final whistle.
Noticing the boy while on the pitch , Daka went to celebrate his goal in front of the boy and waved at the young die-hard fan.
At the end of the match, Daka quickly rushed to the security personnel and told them to bring the boy down the pitch side and later gave him his jersey to the amusement of the crowd.
The Chipolopolo striker is not only making Leicester city fans love him for his goals but his humble personality and selfless connection with them.
